Moto G 2015 Receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

The Motorola Moto G 2015 is next on track to receive some official Android 6.0 Marshmallow love from Motorola. The update is rolling out for the XT1540 for users in the US and Canada who have purchased the device unlocked and SIM free. The update is 2GB in size, so make sure you have enough bandwidth and battery to download and install.

Root Beta Android 6.0 Firmware on Samsung Galaxy S6

Samsung has been rolling out beta builds for testers to try out Android 6.0 Marshmallow on their Samsung Galaxy S6 in some regions. Thanks to XDA Recognized Contributor arter97, beta testers can now root the device successfully. Do note that you will no longer receive firmware updates after rooting, as you will then need to revert to stock firmware for that.
