New ColorOS 6 update for the Realme XT and Realme C2 bring December 2019 patches and other features

Over the last month, Realme did a great job of releasing updates for the vast majority of its devices. Along with improvements to ColorOS, the updates brought Android security patches for November 2019 for these devices. The company has started rolling out ColorOS updates with the Android security patches for December 2019. The company has already released the December security patches for the Realme 3 Pro, Realme 1, and Realme U1. And now, the Realme XT and Realme C2 are next in line to receive the latest security patches.

Realme has started rolling out ColorOS 6.0.1 for the Realme XT featuring the Android security patches for December 2019 along with a few improvements to the camera and notification center. Here’s the official changelog for the ColorOS update (vRMX1921EX_11.A.14) for the Realme XT:

• Security:
  • Android security patch: December, 2019
• Notification Center and Status Bar:
  • Added fast switch toggles of dark mode in notification center
• Camera:
  • Updated nightscape algorithm of front camera, fixed the probabilistic black spot issue
• Theme Store:
  • Updated font change supporting in Theme Store
• Known issue fixed:
  • Fixed the issue of app startup animation splash screen when white wallpaper

Along with the Realme XT, the company has also started rolling out a ColorOS update for the budget-centric Realme C2. As with the Realme XT update, the ColorOS 6.0 update for the Realme C2 brings the Android security patches for December 2019, improvements to the Notification center, a new flash on call feature, and some minor bug fixes. Here’s the official changelog for the ColorOS update (vRMX1941EX_11.A.21) for the Realme C2:

• Security:
  • Android security patch: December, 2019
• Launcher
  • Added click the blank area to back to the launcher on recent task interface
• Notification Center and Status Bar:
  • Added fast switch toggles of dark mode in notification center
• Settings:
  • Added flash on call feature
• Known issue fixed:
  • Fixed the issue of volume bar blocked by the camera while horizontal status
