XDA TV: Home Screen Critiques

One of the best things about Android is the endless customizations that you can do on your device. Many users say they have the best home screens out there, but do they? In this XDA TV video, Taylor is going to take a look at some of these home screens and see if they're any good.

"I find this to be a little busy, mostly because there's so much crammed into the quick bar. You can customize it using Action Launcher but I find that I don't ever use it. The icons looks very clean and neat but I don't know what it is about round icons that I don't really like."

"This is probably about as minimal as a home screen can get. With a bold wallpaper and four folders at the bottom, that's all you'll see on your home screen. I'm not even sure how he accesses the app drawer. It might be a gesture or something like that. Other than that, there's not a whole lot to say about this layout. Very neat setup."

"Right off the bat, there's something that kills me about this layout… It's off centered. The media player is four wide on a five wide grid along side an overflow of another app folder."
