After a big adoption of ambient display, OEMs like Samsung and LG are taking passive information delivery one step further by adopting always-on display for clocks, notifications and even screensavers, reminiscent of the old nokia brick days (remember the face?). That being said, these can suck up over half a percent per hour. So we ask:
Do you find them useful , and are they worth the trade off? Would you turn them on in certain circumstances like class or work?
