We’ve seen rumors about HTC doing 2 Nexus devices this year, but this is the first we’ve heard about Huawei. Charlene Munilall, the General Manager for Huawei’s Consumer Business Group in South Africa, allegedly said exactly that in an interview. She explained why it’s difficult to get the Nexus 6P in the country, and then said “We’re doing the Nexus again this year, by the way.” However, do note that she could be referring to merely bringing the phone in, as opposed to a new phone.

Hey kids, do you like emails? Gmail is something we all use whether we like it or not. For those of you that are Gmail power users, you’ll want to check out these features that will improve your Gmail experience on Android.
Now if you’re in a situation where you can’t be bothered to watch a video, like perhaps you’re a lawyer in a long trial defending a man who robbed more than $30,000 from his own company, then here are the contents of the video displayed in text form.
Number Five: Undo Send
Gmail has a fantastic feature that lets you undo a sent email that you may have fired off before it was ready. this feature is noticeably absent from the official Gmail app. If you download the inbox app, you’ll find the undo option popup after every email you send.
Number Four: Snooze Emails
Once again, this feature is exclusive to the Inbox app. Sometimes you’re not able to reply to all the incoming emails. Many of us will read and email and if we can’t shoot out a reply right away, we will forget about the email entirely. The snooze feature in Inbox lets you set a time or place where your email will popup again. Everyone has a different schedule. You might show up at home every night at 8:32pm. If that’s the case, then you can set a custom snooze time in your settings. Modify your morning, afternoon and evening times so when you snooze an email, you’ll receive it exactly when you want it.
Number Three: Format
In the default Gmail app, you can access the text format options by pressing and holding the composition field. You’ll have access to text color, highlight color, underline, italics and a few other essential features.
Number Two: Attachments
In the Gmail app, the attachments option will take you right to your file browser where you can select from your local files. The Inbox attachment system is much better, showing your recent files at the bottom of your screen. You can also launch your camera from within the app and snap a photo.
Number One: Google Now
Google Now handles sending emails like a champ. Start with the “New Email” command and Google will walk you through the rest. It’s fast and works great for simple emails that don’t require attachments and text formatting.

We love Nexus devices: each brought a familiar yet new Android experience. Nexus devices are also renowned for either their innovative design, their great price-points, or the overall consistency of the user experiences they brought.
Many of us would even go through OnePlus’ invite system (!) if it meant we could relive our favorite Nexus experience but with the latest processor, more RAM, a better camera and/or a bigger battery. Who knows, it could happen! And because of that, we ask you:

A lot of people were upset when Sony remove Stamina mode from the company’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. We assumed it would be back eventually thanks to the company’s Marshmallow beta program, but we just didn’t know when. Now, an OTA update with Android’s April 1st security patches and Stamina Mode is being pushed out to the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Dual.

Yesterday, Google quietly started letting users apply to beta test their Google Maps application via the Play Store. All you have to do is apply to be a tester and then you can update to the beta version. This beta update has a splash screen for Android Wear and there are new notification settings for “Show pending contributions notification” and “Driving notifications.”

Mobile VR is about to get a major push thanks to Google’s Daydream platform, and Huawei wants to be one of the first (if not the first) company to have a phone available for it. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Huawei CEO Richard Yu said they want to expand into VR and they’ll have a Daydream compatible smartphone ready in the fall.
