Poweramp Alpha Update Teases Major Engine Enhancements, with more to come

Dedicated fans of popular music player Poweramp have been eagerly awaiting the next major update to come along for quite awhile now. It seems you won’t have to wait much longer, though, as the developers of the app have teased a major update on their message board. They’ve published an alpha version of their app that you can test right now, but be warned that it may contain lots of bugs.

Unofficial Material Design Xposed Installer App Updated with Support for Jellybean and Above

If you’re a stickler for having Material Design everywhere on your device, then you’ve probably felt some dismay at the stock, official Xposed Installer app. Now, the Xposed developer is quite a busy man, so it’s understandable that he doesn’t place the app high on his priority list. Thankfully, the installer itself is open source, so XDA Senior Member DVDAndroid published a Material Design Xposed Installer app, now including support for Jellybean and KitKat.

Chainfire Releases SuperSU 2.66 BETA, Fixes Deep Sleep on S6’s Marshmallow

XDA Senior Recognized Developer Chainfire has updated his SuperSU to version 2.66 BETA. The update should fix the deep sleep issue on Marshmallow beta for the Samsung Galaxy S6. The new version patches some security policies, so there should be fewer problems with root applications. Flash the provided update with TWRP or compatible recovery.

Galaxy Note 5 Gets Update with December Security Patch

Samsung has launched an update for its Galaxy Note 5 phablet. The update versioned as N920GDDU2AOL1 brings small improvements to voice quality and the December security patch.
